QT Announces New Program Structure and Launch of QT Capital Initiative

QT Funded has announced an update to its product offering, introducing a simplified program structure, revised trading rules, and a new trader progression initiative under the QT Capital program. According to the firm, the update introduces a revised framework across its evaluation and funding plans.

What Happened

QT Funded has restructured its offerings into a simplified set of plans, including QT 2-Step, QT 2-Step Elite, and QT Instant, while also introducing updated rule parameters and a new trader progression program.
The firm stated that its revised structure introduces updated rules and a more standardized framework across its programs.

What’s Changed

New Program Structure

QT Funded’s offering has been consolidated into three primary plans:

  • QT 2-Step
  • QT 2-Step Elite
  • QT Instant (direct-to-sim funding)
These programs come with a 30-day payout cycle. 7-day and 14-day payout cycles with an add-on depending on the program selected.

QT 2-Step & QT 2-Step Elite

  • Profit targets: 7% (Phase 1), 5% (Phase 2)
  • Max drawdown: 10% Static
  • Daily drawdown: 4% Balance Based
  • QT 2-Step: includes a 5% payout cap on the first 3 payouts
  • QT 2-Step Elite: no payout cap
The firm stated that trading rules have been reworked, describing them as more trader-friendly.

QT Instant (Direct Funding)

  • Max drawdown: 6% trailing from highest balance or equity
  • Daily drawdown: 3% (balance-based)
  • Drawdown behavior: trailing drawdown is locked at the starting balance upon withdrawal
  • Payout conditions include:5 Minimum trading days
  • 25% Consistency score requirement
  • 3% Payout buffer requirement
  • 5% Minimum Payout threshold

Performance Protection Promise

QT Funded introduced a “Performance Protection Promise,” which applies across its programs.
According to the firm:

  • Traders who breach a core rule may receive:
    10% of profits, or
A full refund of the evaluation fee, whichever is higher
Phase 1 Account Reset, allowing you to restart for Assessment-based accounts
  • This protection may be used up to three times per user, based on the firm’s stated terms: the breach must not involve any prohibited trading practices, and the account must be in profit to qualify.
For QT Instant accounts, the firm stated that claiming this protection results in the account being forfeited rather than reset.

QT Capital Programme

QT Funded also announced the launch of QT Capital, an invitation-only program aimed at consistently performing traders.
According to the firm, the program includes:

  • Daily payouts
  • Access to events and additional benefits
  • A structured progression path with increasing allocations
  • A monthly salary component

Eligibility is based on trader performance and consistency, as determined by the firm.

Additional Rule Changes

  • Maximum allocation: $300,000 across all programs combined
  • Inactivity rule: 14 days
  • News trading: Order modifications are now permitted within the 10-minute window, which includes adjusting stop-loss levels, modifying take-profit targets, and canceling orders.

Why This Matters

This update represents a structural revision of QT Funded’s program offering, including changes to plan structure, rule parameters, and trader progression features.
The introduction of QT Capital also adds a structured progression pathway for selected traders within the ecosystem.

Impact on Traders

For traders, the update introduces:

  • A simplified set of program options
  • Updated profit targets and drawdown parameters
  • A defined protection mechanism tied to rule breaches
  • A progression pathway through QT Capital, subject to eligibility

Traders considering a new account should review the updated rules and payout structures carefully, particularly around drawdown behaviour, payout conditions, and eligibility for performance protection.

Prop Firm Match Perspective

Rule and structure updates like these can significantly change program conditions for new participants. Traders considering QT Funded’s updated plans should review the revised terms in full and ensure they understand the updated payout structure, drawdown parameters, and protection mechanisms before starting a new journey.
Prop Firm Match will update its QT Funded profile to reflect these changes as further details are confirmed.
