I’ve been trading with Atmos for a long time now and they are legit, and the rules are straight forward. The support team is really helpful, and most of the time, sort my questions fast and clear. The dashboard could be more updated, but overall, my experience have been good so far, I have nothing to complain about. I would only suggest to have more on demand payouts.

I am writing this to warn the trading community about the practices regarding account status transitions and activation fees at Atmos Funded. I successfully passed a 100k 1 step Plus challenge evaluation ( costs $149 ,and a $125 activation fee charged only after passing ) and the system explicitly marked the account as "Passed." Based on this status, I went ahead and paid the required activation fee since I passed and activation button was also active . I tried Atmos after seeing their broker-backed setup with Taurex, which gave me more confidence than unknown startups. I chose their 2-Step evaluation and traded on MT5. The spreads were reasonable, and execution felt clean. What I liked: payouts came through without unnecessary delays, and customer support actually replied within a few hours. What I liked the most is the fact that Atmos is directly broker-backed by Taurex, rather than being a third-party simulation platform. That gave me genuine peace of mind. I've seen too many prop firms disappear overnight or delay payouts indefinitely, but knowing there's an actual regulated broker behind the scenes made the whole experience feel more legitimate and stable. On a practical level, I really appreciated the MT5 and cTrader options — no forced use of clunky, in-house platforms. The trading environment was smooth, and order fills were noticeably cleaner than some other prop firms I've tested. Also, the 90% profit split is genuine. Once I passed evaluation, I kept the majority of what I made, which is ultimately what matters most in this industry.
What I liked the least is the strict rule enforcement, particularly around news trading. I completely understand having rules for risk management, but Atmos prohibits trading during high-impact news events — and there's very little flexibility. I once had a position running that wasn't even tied to the news release, but because a major economic report dropped while my trade was still open, I got flagged. That felt overly restrictive. The interview process before the first withdrawal also rubbed me the wrong way. I get that they want to verify you're a real trader, not a bot or copy-trader, but it adds an extra layer of anxiety. You've already passed the evaluation and proven your profitability — another hurdle right when you're expecting your payout feels unnecessary.
