IC Funded at Prop Firm Expo London 2026: What Traders Should Know

Most prop firms run their own trading environment and ask traders to trust it. IC Funded takes a different route: it operates in partnership with IC Markets, one of the larger and longer-established brokers in the retail space, and builds its evaluations around that relationship. For a trader weighing where to be funded, a firm whose environment is tied to a well-known broker rather than a self-built backend is a distinct proposition, and it is the thread running through the firm's "institutional style" positioning.

IC Funded will appear at Prop Firm Expo London 2026 on June 27 at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, Westminster, as a Silver Sponsor. For traders who want to understand the firm's two programs and how its rules work in practice, the event is a useful setting to do that work in person.

Who is IC Funded

IC Funded is a CFD prop firm operating through an entity based in Saint Lucia, offering evaluations in a simulated trading environment. The firm is explicit that it is not a broker, does not hold client deposits, and runs entirely on demo accounts that replicate real market conditions, a standard structure for the simulated-funding model, and is worth understanding going in.

Its defining relationship is with IC Markets, which the firm names as its partner. The trading environment is built around CFDs across FX, indices, metals, commodities, and crypto, accessed through MetaTrader 5 or cTrader, both provided at no additional cost. During evaluation, a simulated commission of $4 per standard lot round turn is applied across instruments to approximate real trading costs.

The angle that stands out: a broker-partnered, two-program structure

What separates IC Funded from many newer CFD firms is the IC Markets partnership underpinning its environment, paired with a clean two-program structure. Rather than a sprawling menu, the firm offers two clearly differentiated routes.

2-Step Professional is the two-phase evaluation. Phase 1 carries a 10% profit target; Phase 2 a 5% target. Leverage runs up to 1:50 on FX majors (and up to 1:20 on indices, metals, and commodities, 1:2 on crypto). It is the route that scales furthest, with account sizes from $5,000 to $500,000.

1-Step Accelerated is the single-phase route, with one 10% profit target and the firm's faster path to funding. Leverage on FX majors is lower here, up to 1:30. Account sizes run from $10,000 to $100,000. The trade-off for the single phase is a tighter risk framework and a consistency rule, covered below.

Both routes lead to the same funded terms: a fixed 80/20 profit split (the trader keeps 80%), no profit cap, and bi-weekly payouts. The challenge fee is refunded after the third payout, a structure that rewards traders who reach sustained funded performance rather than refunding upfront.

The rule framework worth understanding

A few points are worth understanding before evaluation, several of which differ between the two programs.

Maximum drawdown is static, not trailing, and equity-based. This is the most important rule detail at IC Funded, and the firm is explicit about it: the maximum drawdown is an absolute limit fixed on the initial starting balance that does not trail upward as profits grow. It is equity-based, so floating losses on open positions count in real time and can trigger a breach before a trade is closed. The level differs by program and size: the 1-Step Accelerated uses a flat 6% maximum drawdown; the 2-Step Professional uses 10% on accounts below $100,000 and 8% on accounts of $100,000 and above. Daily drawdown is also equity-based and resets at 00:00 server time — 4% in 2-Step Phase 1 and 3% on the 1-Step.

The consistency rule applies to the 1-Step only, and it is a soft rule. On the 1-Step Accelerated, no single trading day may account for more than 45% of total evaluation profit. Exceeding it does not automatically fail the account; instead, the excess is added to the profit target, so the trader simply has to generate more profit across other days to pass. It can also trigger a risk review. The rule does not apply to the 2-Step or the funded stage.

News trading and weekend holding have specific limits. News trading is allowed during evaluation; on funded accounts a 3-minute cool-off applies around high-impact releases (no opening or closing within three minutes either side). Positions can be held overnight, but a Friday flatten is required, which means all trades must be closed before the weekend, or they may be closed automatically.

Automation and copy trading are restricted to your own systems. Expert Advisors may be permitted provided they are built and controlled by the account holder; third-party, rented, or commercially distributed bots are not. Copy trading between IC Funded accounts and coordinated multi-account activity are prohibited, as are the usual forbidden practices (arbitrage, latency and pricing-error exploitation, HFT and tick scalping, martingale and grid systems, and account sharing). Multiple accounts are allowed up to a $500,000 total allocation per trader.

Payouts run through RISE. The first payout can be requested 14 calendar days after the funded account is activated, then every 14 days, subject to the profitable-day activity requirement and compliance review. Payouts are processed through the RISE platform, so an active RISE account is needed to receive funds.

How to compare IC Funded at the expo

The starting question is which of the two routes matches how you want to get funded. If you want the route that scales furthest and prefer a phased evaluation, the 2-Step Professional and its $5,000–$500,000 range is the conversation, including how the per-size drawdown (10% below $100K, 8% above) would apply at your account size. If you want the faster single-phase path, the 1-Step Accelerated is the route, but ask the team to walk through the 45% consistency rule and the tighter 6% static drawdown, since those are the trade-offs for the single phase.

Across both, the static, equity-based drawdown is the throughline to understand, because it does not loosen as you profit and it counts floating losses in real time. The IC Markets partnership is also worth probing: ask what it means concretely for the execution and conditions you will actually trade on.

Questions to ask IC Funded at Prop Firm Expo

  • Which of the two routes is better suited to my style: 1-Step Accelerated or 2-Step Professional?
  • What exactly does the IC Markets partnership mean for the execution, spreads, and conditions I will trade on?
  • How does the static, equity-based maximum drawdown play out in practice, given floating losses count in real time?
  • On the 1-Step, how does the 45% consistency rule work if my profit concentrates in one or two strong days?
  • How do the funded-stage news cool-off and the Friday flatten requirement affect my strategy?
  • What does the payout process through RISE involve, and when is the challenge fee refunded relative to my payouts?

How to use their stage and booth time

Use the firm's presence at the event to test how clearly IC Funded explains its two routes and the rules that differ between them. The useful signal is whether the team can speak to who each program is built for and how the static drawdown and consistency rule genuinely work, rather than presenting the programs as interchangeable. This is a good chance to get answers in person, and to ask what the IC Markets relationship means in concrete terms.

Use booth time to narrow the decision around your own trading. Bring your preferred asset class, your account-size range, and your trading style. If you already know whether you lean toward a faster one-step or a phased two-step evaluation, this is where IC Funded should be able to give you a more precise answer, including how the drawdown and consistency rules would apply to your strategy, than a static listing can provide.

IC Funded will appear at Prop Firm Expo London 2026 on June 27 at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, Westminster, as a Silver Sponsor. For attendees comparing CFD prop firms, that is a useful opportunity to evaluate a broker-partnered firm and to test how its two-route structure and static-drawdown framework fit the way you actually trade.

As IC Funded is exhibiting but is not currently listed on Prop Firm Match, the firm's own site, icfunded.com, is the primary source for its programs, rules, and pricing ahead of the event.
