Prohibited Practice and strategies
Account Churning (Rolling): Opening multiple funded or challenge accounts in quick succession is prohibited
High-frequency trading (HFT): HFT involves holding trades for 60 seconds or less.
One-Sided Bets: Taking positions in a single direction without proper analysis or consideration of market trends, often leading to excessive exposure.
Grid Trading: Placing buy and sell orders at fixed intervals, relying solely on price fluctuations rather than informed analysis. This strategy disregards market conditions and often leads to uncontrolled losses.
Overleveraging: Exceeding the allowable lot size limit for your account type on a single trade idea. This creates excessive risk and significantly increases the chances of an account wipeout.
Gambling: Engaging in trades that resemble betting rather than strategy, such as placing random positions without analysis or risking large portions of the account on a single trade idea.
Martingale: Increasing positional notional volume after each trade, aiming to recover previous losses or amplify winnings on subsequent trades. This involves doubling down after a losing trade. Martingale trading is allowed for all challenges and IF Micro accounts (including funded stage). For Instant Funding accounts, traders can add to losing positions but must avoid continuously doubling lot sizes after losses.
Improper Day Padding: If a minimum trading day requirement applies to your account, each trading day should reflect your normal trading behavior. Opening negligible or artificial trades solely to meet the minimum trading day requirement is not permitted. This includes: Trading significantly smaller lot sizes than usual, Executing low-risk or meaningless trades with no strategic intent. Such behavior is considered inconsistent and does not align with our evaluation of genuine trading skill.
General Trading Rules
High-Frequency Trading (HFT), arbitrage, straddling, latency abuse, or exploiting price feed delays are prohibited.
Notional Volume:
Floating Drawdown
Instant Funding: On Instant Funding accounts, the Floating Drawdown threshold is 1.5% of the Initial Account Balance. A Dashboard or platform reminder may appear at 1.0%. The first confirmed Floating Drawdown breach results in a Formal Warning only. From the second confirmed breach onward, each separate qualifying event results in one Strike and Reward Payment reduction to 10% for the relevant Payout Cycle.
Challenge and Pro evaluation phases: During Challenge and Pro Challenge phases, the Floating Drawdown threshold is 2.0% of the Initial Account Balance. Reaching the threshold does not result in a real-time alert, email alert, platform notification, soft warning, Strike, Account Reset, Reward Payment reduction, or account closure. Relevant findings may be included in the Challenge Phase Progression Report.
Challenge and Pro funded phase: Once a Challenge or Pro account reaches Simulated Funded Status, the 2.0% Floating Drawdown threshold is enforced. A reminder may appear at 1.5%. A confirmed breach results in one Strike and Reward Payment reduction to 10% for the relevant Payout Cycle. Only one Strike may be issued per trade and instrument combination. Five cumulative Strikes result in permanent account closure.
Loss-chasing and gambling-style trading behavior is prohibited
Scalping Rule:
High Frequency Trading:
Excessive One-Sided Position Concentration:
What is Liquidity Abuse:
Low-liquidity trading and spread exploitation is prohibited
This refers to the systematic execution of trades during low-liquidity market conditions with the intent to benefit from widened spreads, delayed order execution, or sharp price movements. A breach occurs when trades are consistently opened or closed between 22:00 and 02:00 UTC, and more than 20% of total profit is generated during this time window.
Use of VPNs, iCloud Private Relay, proxies, remote desktops, anonymisers, IP masking, rapidly changing IPs, or geographically inconsistent connections may lead to failed verification, account closure, Reward Payment rejection, and refund refusal.
Weekend holding: Evaluation based programs
Hedging
High-frequency stacking (including correlated instruments)
News straddling is prohibited.
Accounts inactive for 30 consecutive days may be closed without refund
